Monte Nido & Affiliates has been delivering treatment for eating disorders for over two decades. Our programs offer a model of treatment that blends medically sophisticated care with a personalized treatment approach. Our work is grounded in evidence-based strategies for adults and adolescents suffering from eating disorders. We work from a multi-disciplinary treatment team approach while integrating state-of-the-art medical, psychiatric, nutritional, and clinical strategies to provide comprehensive care within an intimate home setting.
Monte Nido & Affiliates is seeking a dynamic and experienced Vice President of Nutrition to lead our nutrition services and make a significant impact on the lives of individuals struggling with eating disorders. As the VP of Nutrition, you will play a critical role in shaping our nutritional philosophy, developing clinical protocols, and providing leadership and guidance to our dedicated team of registered dietitians. You will work collaboratively with other executive leaders to ensure that our nutrition services are integrated seamlessly into our comprehensive treatment programs, promoting holistic recovery for our clients.
Strategic Leadership:
- Develop and execute a strategic vision for the nutrition department that aligns with the overall mission and values of Monte Nido & Affiliates.
- Collaborate with the executive team to drive the organization's growth and innovation in the field of eating disorder treatment.
Clinical Expertise:
- Maintain a deep understanding of evidence-based nutrition practices and treatment modalities in the field of eating disorders.
- Provide clinical supervision, training, and support to the nutrition team to ensure the highest quality of care for our clients.
Program Development:
- Oversee the development and implementation of nutrition programs that meet the unique needs of our clients.
- Stay current with emerging research and best practices in the field and adapt programs accordingly.
Quality Assurance:
- Establish and maintain standards of excellence in nutrition services.
- Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of nutrition programs and make data-driven improvements.
Collaboration:
- Work closely with the interdisciplinary treatment team to ensure seamless coordination of care.
- Collaborate with therapists, medical professionals, and other staff to provide integrated care to clients.
Training and Education:
- Provide ongoing training and professional development opportunities for the nutrition team.
- Educate clients and their families about the importance of nutrition in recovery.
Regulatory Compliance:
- Ensure that all nutrition services comply with relevant laws, regulations, and accreditation standards.
- Stay informed about changes in the regulatory environment related to nutrition and eating disorder treatment.
Requirements
- Master's or Ph.D. in Nutrition, Dietetics, or related field required.
- Registered Dietitian (RD) certification and state licensure with 7+ years of experience as a RD in eating disorder treatment.
- Minimum of 5 years of leadership experience in a clinical or healthcare setting, preferably in eating disorder treatment.
- Strong understanding of evidence-based nutrition treatment for eating disorders.
- Experience serving as a Preceptor for Dietetic Interns.
- Registered Dietitian/Nutritionist in good standing with CDR required.
- CEDS-C in good standing with iaedp™ required.
- Familiar with Inpatient, RTC and PHP/IOP levels of care.
- Active Driver’s License.
- Ability to travel 30% of time or more.
- Exceptional leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- A passion for working with individuals struggling with eating disorders and a commitment to their recovery.
